Description

Srinagar/carpet/floral natural silk blue Dimensions: 279x369 BLUE/floral pattern incorporated Former DM price: 12,620 DM The city of Srinagar is the capital and knotting center of the Indian part of Kashmir and is synonymous with the carpets of this provenance. It has been knotted here since the 14th century. Today Kashmir is famous for its silk carpets, they are considered to be the finest and highest quality carpets in India. Their patterns have Persian influences, the field pattern, which is knotted a lot in Qom, is particularly popular.
