Description

Table lamp made of painted and lacquered ceramics in Art Nouveau style. Brass and porcelain socket. Made and stamped at Søholm, Bornholm.

Goals:
Height, incl. socket: 45 cm
Diamètre: 18 cm

The table lamp dates from Søholm's “lacquer period” circa 1928-1938. During this period, many of Ancher Wolffsen's and Carl Møller's old plaster molds were taken from the magazines, and the ceramics made from these. The ceramics were glazed inside with lead glaze and burned once, after which it was cold painted and finally varnished.

Condition

Age and usage traces, including scratches, flaking and edge shards. No functional warranty is given.
