Description

The cover decorated with figures in discussion and playing a game, before pine trees and rockwork in mountainous landscape, the sides with pink and blue flower-sprays within shaped blue scroll cartouches, reserved on a ground on scrolling green tendrils and flowerheads, 5.7cm high x 15.9 cm wide x 9.8cm deep.

Condition

The cover - there is a circular chip with an old repair and old restuck flakes of enamel which have discoloured, this is approx. 2cm diam., there is a small in-filled chip the top right corner of the cover, some chipping to enamels to the underside of the cover of the box, also to the corners of the box, some associated crazing and cracking, wear overall.
