Werra cameras were manufactured in eastern Germany, from 1954 to 1968 by Carl Zeiss Jena.

Werra is the name of a small river near the production factory.

All controls are located around the lens. On the upper plate we only have the trigger.

The most unique feature of this camera is the covered ring around the lens housing. By turning the ring, the shutter is tightened and the film is fed forward in one motion.
