Historian
This model of the Volvo Amazon Kombi Sport was produced in 1969 and came to have an unusual career in the Swedish police service. The car first served as a service vehicle with the Vaxholm Police, and later also with the Täby Police around 1972.
During his time in Vaxholm, the car was loaned for the filming of the Swedish classic TV series Kråkguldet (SVT, 1969), where it is clearly visible in the first few minutes with the then registration number B95910. The series has become part of Swedish cultural history.
After the police years, the car was deregistered from active service, and the story took a new turn when the current owner -- following a tip about a former police car in Motala -- went and bought the car late one night. It represents a unique piece of Swedish automotive and film history.
