The Loewe company was founded in 1846 in Madrid by a group of Spanish leather craftsmen, and the name was first used in 1876 when the German craftsman Enrique Loewey Roessberg joined the organization.
Enrique Loewey Hinton, a descendant of the brand's original founder, was awarded the title of Royal Court Supplier by Spanish King Alfonso XIII. The boutique on Principe de Madrid boulevard was frequented by his wife, Queen Victoria Eugenia.
In good vintage condition with minor scratches and paint scuffs on corners.
