Hamburg-based artist Albert Feser studied with Arthur Siebelist and Henning Edens, and later also with Julius Wohlers. He also studied art history at Hamburg University in the 1920s. At the end of July 1943, Feser's entire early work was destroyed in a firestorm over Hamburg. He is a representative of open-air painting and is known for his impressionist landscapes and Hamburg veduts.
