HMS Falken (S02) is a sail/exercise ship of the Swedish Navy since 1947. The ship forms part of the Schooner Division along with HMS Gladan (S01). The drawings were made by the then naval director Tore Herlin. The Riksdag granted SEK 1.5 million for the purpose. The falcon is painted with red ground paint extending about 20 cm above the waterline. Each year new sailors, high school students and cadets are trained at Falken and Gladan.
