With a serpentine crest rail and pierced interlaced vasiform splat, the drop-in seat, and raised on square chamfered legs joined by stretchers, 96cm high, together with a 19th century oak side chair having a vertical stat back, 88cm high (2).

the George III example with surface wear and scratches, scuffs, and some play i the joints, the other chair with split to the seat, woodworm, scuffs and surface scratchers.
