Seat height: 27 cm.
In 1933, Professor Kaare Klint drew his variation of the “Safari Chair” with the aim of creating a lightweight and at the same time transportable recliner. He was inspired by an English officer's chair that he had seen in a travel book from Africa. By constructing a chair that could be easily disassembled and assembled without the use of tools, Klint maintained the chair's field purpose.
