Description
Table legs made of metal, two folding table tops made of white lacquered wood.
Height 73 cm.
Dimensions in the fully unfolded position 140 x 80 cm.
Rutger Andersson was IKEA's most influential designer in the 1980s. He was responsible for a wide range of models, a number of which were fairly progressive. The chair and table “Karelen” received a lot of attention in both the Swedish and international press at the launch, but despite this, “Karelen” was not included in the Swedish IKEA catalogs.
In its expression, “Karelia” is very telling of the prevailing furniture fashion of the mid-1980s.
Dimensions fully folded 140 x 19 cm.
