154 x 154 cm.
Anders Wollin is a Swedish artist with roots in Gothenburg and the west coast, where his artistic career also began. After studying at the Free School of Painting in Halmstad between 1992 and 1995, Wollin chose to devote himself entirely to his artistry. With an expression often compared to Bengt Lindström's, especially in the powerful and physically tangible way of using the oil paint, he has developed a distinctive expressionist style. His work moves between the landscape and the figurative, with recurring motifs such as faces, bodies and dramatic scenes with strong colour action and emotionally charged expression
Wollin has had numerous exhibitions, mainly in southern Sweden but also nationally in Sundsvall and Stockholm, as well as internationally in Paris, Los Angeles and the Netherlands. His art is characterized by intensity, saturation of color and an often monumental imagery in which both force and introspection interact.
Slightly loosely mounted in the frame.
