During the 1980s, there was Star Wars hysteria in Sweden and the small action figures were top sellers in the toy stores. The Swedish distributor was the company Playmix, a subsidiary of Brio. Playmix had a very creative marketing department that organized contests, promotions and produced very odd advertising materials. Among other things, they allowed them to produce different types of cardboard signs that the toy stores could use in their marketing. These signs were unique to Sweden and are today unusual and sought-after collectibles.
