A ragusked spoon is a type of spoon used in formal serving, especially for eating dishes such as ragu, stews, or pasta dishes with sauce. It is slightly larger than a regular tablespoon but smaller than a soup spoon, and often has a slightly wider and rounder bowl to be able to easily capture both sauce and small pieces of meat or vegetables.
It is sometimes also used as a serving spoon at finer table settings, especially in classic French or continental cuisine.
