A Doulton stoneware jug, modelled as a 'black jack' and a verse to the body. Mounted with a silver rim (difficult to read, possibly London 1892) and with various impressed marks, 'Doulton Slaters Patent'. 19.5cms high.

Condition

some visible cracks inside the spout (see images) and small chip in that area, small nibble to the base of the handle.
