AINA LARSSON
Studied 1952—56 at Konstfack in Stockholm and settled after his studies in
Greece. After about ten years she moved back to Sweden, lived in Botkyrka and
later at Söder in Stockholm. She had solo exhibitions in Greece, Portugal,
Thailand, Finland and Bornholm, as well as in Stockholm and Gothenburg with several locations in
Sweden. She participated in collections exhibitions, for example at the Drawing Museum in Laholm,
Kulturhuset in Stockholm and several times at Liljevalchs Spring Salon.
Her art consists of large format watercolors and gouaches as well as color lithographs.
The motifs are figural compositions and environmental depictions that she drew from, among other things,
Sweden and the Greek island world, but also from Madeira, Thailand and others
places she visited. She also published several books with her own illustrations.
Larsson is represented at Kiruna City Hall, Rhodes Town Hall, the Library of Kiruna
Söndrum, the doctor's office in Vällingby, the Ringen Medical Centre in Stockholm and in Gustaf VI
Adolf's Collection.
