Swordsmith: Sueyuki 末行 Sword School: Takada 高田 Region: Bungo豊後 Date of Manufacture: 1624 (寛永 Kanei) - 1644 Art Period: Edo (1603-1867) Sword Period: Shinto (1596-1781) Overall Blade Length: 67.5cm Appraisal/Certificate of Authenticity Included . JHTKK (Juho Token Kenkyu Kai) Blue Paper = "Genuine Work" Habakin wears a samurai clan's family crest (Kamon). This emblem/kamon belongs to the Sakai clan (酒井氏) and that family still exists today. See detailed picture. This sword may have belonged to Sakai Tadakiyo or his father. Interesting research can be done on the web.
The sword is made by the first generation Sueyuki 1624-1644. The second generation operated during the Kanbun (1661 – 1673).
