Hans Rooster-Seebruck, printing block Hans Rooster-Seebruck was granted a great age. "Anyone who can love art stays healthy for life," was his motto. He died in 2014 at the age of 93. He was known in the area. Born in Gültstein, he lived in the former mill for almost 80 years. His parents bought the property in the 1930s. However, it was destroyed in an air raid. Father Johann Rooster rebuilt the farm where the son lived until the end. The artist later underlined his close connection to the Seebruckenmühle by adding "Seebruck" to his name.(http://www.swp.de).
