Description

Eduard Micus (1925-2000), untitled, mixed media with acrylic and paper collage on canvas, 1987, signed and dated, canvas ca. 132 x 140 cm, loosely mounted on white wooden frame with Velcro and adhesive tape, with frame approx. 146 x 153 cm

Micus studied with Willi Baumeister at the Stuttgart Art Academy. In 1967, together with Gerhard Richter, Günther Uecker and other German participants, he took part in the 6th San Marino Biennial. From 1982, he made colored paper collages on fabric and resolved the panel painting. He lived and worked in Ibiza.

Condition

Fastening loosened in places with Velcro tape. Slight signs of wear.
