Description
Claesson, Stig (SLAS), Swedish writer and artist, (1926-2008). Two framed chalk drawings. One, which in its green tame measures 54 cm. x 64 cm., depicts two people under the sun in a landscape with birch trees. The second (measuring 42 cm. x 53.5 cm.in frame) depicts a blue lady against the round of the sun with a boy down the right. watching her. Pretty typical Stig Claesson pictures that are not signed which is due to the fact that they are models for an intended film. The photos are attributed to Jerry and Bryan (Foster) as evidenced by a copy of a letter from SLAS mounted on the back. SLAS talks about his thoughts on the film and concludes with: “Try to bring the old man to life and the other will live by itself”. Bryan is the film animator Bryan Foster, while we don't know who Jerry is. The film never came to be shot.
