Unique film props from Anders Thomas Jensen's new blockbuster The Last Viking

This item is original props from the acclaimed feature film Den siste vikingen, directed by Anders Thomas Jensen — one of the Nordic region's most prominent filmmakers, known for cult classics such as Flashing Lanterns, The Green Butchers, Adam's Apple, Men and Hens and Horsemen of Righteousness.

The film, which revolves around two brothers is a story of identity and belonging and has already become a huge audience hit. In Denmark, the film has broken audience records and was seen by over 700,000 moviegoers, making it one of the biggest Nordic film hits of the year. In the lead roles we see some of Scandinavia's most beloved actors: Mads Mikkelsen, Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Sofie Gråbøl.

The film's central setting — the house where the action takes place — was built entirely from scratch as a large-scale backdrop, erected in the middle of the Swedish forest outside Tollered. Every detail of the scenography, including this item, is carefully hand-picked to create the film's unique and authentic expression.

The Last Viking is produced by Zentropa Entertainments4 in co-production with Zentropa Sweden and Film i Väst and had its Swedish cinema premiere in November.
