Otto Klein (1906-1994), winter landscape, oil on canvas, signed, ca. 48 x 67 cm.

Swiss artist Otto Klein studied at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel with Arnold Fiechter and received an art scholarship in 1944. In addition to industrial landscapes, portraits and figure paintings, he also created expressive, non-representational paintings. In 1955, he created the mural “Morgenstreich” in Basel's train station buffet.
