A “Dipping shoe, in bronze from the Viking Age (800-1050).
The dipping shoe was used as protection against damage from the tip of the sword.
Ring, bronze, weight 6,4g. Enl. task Viking Age (800-1100 AD).
Signet ring, partly gilded silver and blue lapis lazuli. Weight about 30 grams.
Should have been worn at ceremonies. In negotiations and when important documents were to be vidified with wax seals. Possible time span 400-800 BC.
Belag from the Bronze Age, entirely in bronze.
Part of silver earring. Finding location: Next to Lake Ladoga in northwestern Russia near Finland.
Bronchial fibula. enl. data Late Bronze Age/early Viking Time.Discovery location: Lake Ladoga in northwestern Russia near Finland.
Pendant in gilt silver. Viking Age 800-1050.
Location: Norway. the area around Hyen.
Interpretation of motifs: The world tree Yggdrasil.
Fenrisulven. “A wolf so big it can gape from earth to sky devours suns”
Location: England.
Iron spearhead. Turnaround time 550-800.
Finding place: Trollhättan, the quarter of the Black Myre. in 1973.
Part of horse halter, made of bronze. Enl. from the Viking Age. This was after contact with Malmö Museum.
Pearls from the Viking Age/Middle Ages.
The beads are made of glass and various semi-precious stones. Dating 9th-13th century AD.
Omega buckle from the Viking Age c. 800-1050 AD.
Bronze buckle. Weight 11,8g.
Pieces of Roman glass. Found during excavation in Majorca in 1987.
Dinosaur bones, 135 million years old.
