218 x 109 cm. Frame dimensions 233 x 125 cm.

Originally painted and commissioned by the Breslau Stadshalle for the cornice in that building in 1875.

The painting was purchased and brought to Sweden in 1983.

Renovated by one of the conservators of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm in 1987.

Exhibited: Berlin 1877, Vienna 1878, Munich 1879.

Literature and documentation are included.

Later tensioning frame. Later frame. Retouches, slight color loss, minor cracking. Frame with badges. Renovated by one of the conservators of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm in 1987.
