Description

The case painted red with decor of flowers. Gilded details, crowned with antique urn and decorated with rocailles. White enamelled dial. Loose movement (original) included.

PROVENANCE
Sculptor Karl Adalbert Wolf (active in Germany in the first half of the 20th century).

The Wolf family lived during the first half of the 20th century in Trier Rhineland-Pfals, Germany. In the late 1970s, the watch was inherited by current owner Elisabeth Lene Charitas Wolf, later Elisabeth Jansson after marrying Gösta Jansson in Sweden in 1981. Elisabeth and Gösta Jansson settled in Saltsjöbaden outside Stockholm where the consol has been located to date.

Condition

Minor repairs completions. Later clockwork fitted into the watch. Clockwork (original) is included loosely. Key is missing. No functional warranty is provided.
