Göran Löfwing (born 1971) is a Swedish artist known for his evocative nature and hunting motifs, often inspired by the area around Lake Hornborg where he resides. Löfwing grew up in Sätuna and had his first exhibition already at the age of twelve, where he showed his carefully stylised landscapes with animals such as geese, moose and buzzards. His art has since become much appreciated for its sense of color and movement, which creates a peculiar light and depth in his work.
After finishing school and working as a butcher, Löfwing chose to invest wholeheartedly in his artistry. He has performed several public commissions, including large fund paintings for the Swedish Museum of Natural History in Stockholm, where he created dioramas to depict Swedish biotopes.
Not examined out of frame.
