Of the 1500 copies of the ring set produced for France, there are only 120 in the combined version here, but only 100 of them were numbered. The remaining 20 copies were reserved for his friends.
The facsimile reproductions are sketches that Picasso made in the period from November 1, 1955 to January 14, 1956 in his villa 'La Californie' near Cannes. He lived there from 1955 to 1959 with his partner Jaqueline Roque.
Some slight yellowing on paper, cardboard partly with abrasions and cracks as well as damaged joints.
