Flodin, Stockholm, 1848 Contemporary half-French band in large 8vo format with richly gilded back decor and gold line binders and marbled cuts. (II), 332 pp. + 23 lithographed and coloured plates. Contemporary worn half-French band, inner folds cracked. Inlay with a few minor spots.
The joint is available as usual Holmberg, Axel Em., ed. About Scandinavia and its inhabitants. Compiled according to the newest and most reliable historical sources. Plancherne lithographed by C. A. Dahlstrom. Stockholm, J. J. Flodin, 1849. 48, + (I) + 6 hand-colored lit. planks.
Condition
The band slightly warped and the binders with numerous bright small spots. The inlay layer stained. The planks have fared best thanks to the protective paper, but there are also some stains. Exlibris.
