Description

A Victorian dendritic agate brooch mounted with repoussé scrolls in pinchbeck, brooch measures 39 x 28mm.
A oval banded agate antique brooch with a pinchbeck bezel setting, brooch measures 38 x 33mm.
Long banded agate vintage brooch, measuring 70 x 25mm.
A blue lace agate drop bow brooch. Agate length 30mm, yellow metal set. Reverse of bow brooch stamped 'SILVER'.
Gross weight 42.3g.

Condition

Dendritic agate brooch has no damage to agate under magnification. The reverse of the brooch has a solder join by the brooch fitting and some deep scratches.
The oval agate brooch: the agate has no damage under magnification. The mount has a concaved area on reverse. Some metal discolouration and repair joins visible.
The long agate brooch has a crack in the agate on a has been repairs from the reverse. The agate also has some chips around the edge.
The bow brooch has some metal discolouration.
