The “Holy Grail of Zündapp” type 518-23.
The KS125-1970 is today perhaps the most sought after model from Zündapp internationally and only a few copies are preserved.
This Swedish-sold copy has been meticulously renovated to perfect condition by Zündapp guru Björn Karlsson, Lotorp.
The engine is a 71st with reinforced crankcase and clutch and is equipped with NOS 15hp cylinder and original switchless ignition system from Zündapp.
Most of the parts are ball polished and it is painted in Ford Europe's color No. 2246c Levente Blue which is slightly broken to mimic the original colour perfectly.
The bike has the correct and very rare original-silencer “Jet Pipe” from Brevetti Interplan Silentium, Turin.
The bike is further refined by the current owner with original Magura clutch and handbrake grips, correct brake pedal and Motorcraft decal as well as has been fitted with the same locking cylinder to both steering lock and toolbox.
