Description
The Talwar is an Indian saber. The model offered from the 19th century has the typical elements, such as the single-edged, curved blade, a cross-shaped guard with a fist protection bar and a disc-shaped knob at the end of the handle. The shape of the handle is likely to come from Bhundi or Kota in southern Rajasthan. The original swap is plastered.
Blade material 'wild damask' steel, Boundi handle, length approx. 75 cm.
