The Pulwar or Afghan Talwar is a saber from India and Afghanistan and is similar to the Indian sabre Talwar. The most striking difference to Talwar is that the guard is bent over facing the location.

The present single-edged sweater is typically curved, decorated with inscriptions on the blade and has a decorative guard. The usual knob at the end of the handle decorated with iron bands is missing.

Length approx. 91.5 cm.

Condition

Age-related signs of wear, minor scratches and abrasions. Partial traces of corrosion.
