Karsten Konrad studied in Mainz, from 1986 with David Evison and Marina Abramovic, then at the Royal College of Art in London. He is a professor at the Academy of Arts in Berlin. In his work, Konrad deals with the destructive character of consumer society. His works can be found in numerous prominent collections.
