Violin, 4/4, Cover in spruce sarg and base in maple. Body measurement approx. 360 mm. Total length approx. 590 mm. Carries label Franz Placht. Hard case by the brand Jager, with green velvety inside.
Two strings, one of which is marked Tourte, octagonal bar.

Condition

Violin; Sarg with release and previous repair at the area around the button, most clearly on the left half of the body. Plugged shell with new holes for tuning screws. Lid with removed vernissa with matte surface. Plurefying with cracking left side of fretboard.
Strings with wear, Tourte, octagonal bar, beaten (not straight).
