Esteri Tomula is sadly unknown in Sweden. She joined Arabia in 1947, working first in the art industry department, then in the design department as a pattern designer on porcelain. Her decors are today among the most sought after in countries such as Japan, Taiwan and South Korea when it comes to Swedish and Finnish porcelain from the “golden years” 1950-80.
