First World War trench art, vases in the form of two German 77mm shell cases, the rims cut into points and flared, both engraved with the badge of the Royal engineers within a shield and 'Peace, 28th June 1919' which refers to the date the Treaty of Versailles was signed bringing WW1 officially to a close, height 22 cm, (2).

Overall good condition minor staining in places.
