of a young gentleman, probably a member of the Holder family, painted on plaster in eglomise mount 8 x 6cm, the reverse of the frame with Miers' trade label no:1365 (see McKechnie p. 667) and another miniature portrait of Charles Holder as a schoolboy c. 1837, on card 8.5 x 6.5 cm (2).
Condition
Miers satisfactory, wear to label, other brown and frame damaged.
