Condition

Varying degrees of wear on the Christmas magazines. The Christmas Eve submission is brown-toned. Stains and naming appear on protective covers. The covers have partially detached from the submissions in the 1942, 1944, 1946 and 1957 editions of Christmas spirit.

The cover of “Santa Claus” has buttressed corners but is otherwise in fine condition. The second book has marks on the front of the cover as someone has used it as a pad for writing, otherwise it is in working condition apart from a scratch on the back of the cover.

The Christmas ornaments have varying degrees of wear and tear. Color chafing and chipping/rejection occur, as well as candle residue on the candlesticks. A candlestick has burn marks on the candle cup.
