Nain carpets are known for their fineness and are often used for their soft and soothing color palettes in ivory and sky blue. These hand-knotted rugs from the city of Nain in Iran are considered one of the finest crafts in the country.

Traditional designs for Nain are a central medallion surrounded by floral designs and sometimes resemble carpets from the neighboring city of Isfahan. The central medallion, a focal point of the carpet, is usually surrounded by enchanting floral designs. This medallion can vary in shape and size, and its details can shift from carpet to carpet.

Typically, Nain carpets are dyed in red, blue or beige, and the finest variants are made entirely of silk. These rugs are sought after by carpet connoisseurs for their excellent quality and fine knotting.
