PROVENANCE & PRESENTATION:
Ingemar Bergman was “handpicked” by Stikkan Anderson himself in 1991. First as a general manager but was appointed very shortly as managing director for Polar Music and Sweden Publishing/ Polygram Publishing, a position he held from 1991 to 2000. One of the first tasks was to be in charge of the relaunch of ABBA GOLD the rest is history.
