John Tapley, London 1842, with acanthus, 'c' and 's' scroll cast border, the centre chased with flowers, 'c' and leaf scrolls enclosing an inscription, on three acanthus scroll and flowerhead feet, 23cm diameter, 17.72ozs
***Inscribed 'Presented to John Kitching Esq. by the Seven Children of Tht (sic) Late Mrs Elizabeth Gower, as a small testimonial of their gratitude for his long continued services and attention April 23, 1844'.

surface scratches, dent to the centre, old repairs.
