At the beginning of the 20th century, Josef Hübner, together with Alfred Poeppig in Neustadt an der Oerla, was a renowned builder of carousel horses and figures. In this lot a trotting horse attributed to him around 1900 / 1910 with white, red and gold paint; in original condition (without restoration), right hind leg possibly broken and reattached, stand is modern. Dimensions L 130 x H 145 x D 34 cm.

Condition

Body with partial splintering, rubbed frame and with defects. scaffolding is missing.
