According to some sources, the well-known art historian Johnny Roosval (1869-1965), brother of Gerda Roosval-Kallstenius, stayed in Klintehamn at the same time. Kallstenius executed several paintings in Kintehamn. There he began the studies for the work "The Master Comes", completed only several years later, to which the local population were models. On the basis of a sketch made during this stay, in 1900 he executed his famous painting "Moonlight Night. Motif from Klinte, Gotland" (Nationalmuseum NM 1551; occasionally deposited at Gotlands Museum).
