Eduard Bargheer's light, mosaic-like watercolors inspire collectors to this day. The artist strives for the greatest possible harmony of light and color, while concentrating on the essential and elementary and bringing hidden architectural structures to light.
After long planning, the new Bargheer Museum in Hamburg was opened in Jenisch Park in 2017, in the immediate vicinity of Jenisch-Haus and Ernst-Barlach-Haus.
