Description
Drawing in ink on leaf from visitors' moorings from Grönskär lighthouse (east of Sandhamn), 6 July 1896. The drawing monogrammed A E. Dimensions approx. 260 x 220 mm (entire sheet).
Among the visitors are signatures of, among others: Albert Engström Erik Sparre (1871-1950, married to Anna, sister of Engström.
Sigrid Engström (sister of Erik Sparre) Birger Mörner (Pracknisse) Gustav von Hennigs (1866-1941), Swedish artist On the back of the sheet is a note that the lighthouse keeper cured Anna Sjöberg's seasickness.
Some later notes in the margin.
Provenance: Johan August Sandblom (1844-1906), lighthouse keeper at Grönskär 1875-1906, later inherited within the family.
Condition
Horizontal tear in old fold, small loss in the right part that touches the drawing. A few small spots.
Lower part cut down. Some later notes in the margin.
