approx. 47x55 cm frame dimensions 57x67 cm HISTORY: Astrid Harms-Ringdahl studied at the Royal Academy of Arts between 1938-1942. She was a true colourist, "There is nothing strained or original in this painting, but it has an authenticity and empathy... (G. Näsström in Stockholmstidningen 21/2 1954). She lived mostly in Stockholm and spent a lot of time in Kåseberga in Österlen, where many of her motifs were created. Astrid Harms-Ringdahl was an active artist and exhibited a lot. Among other things in Stockholm at Stenmans art salon, Modern Art in a home environment, Color and form and at Liljevalchs.
