Peter Witt (b. 1966), Sylter Heide, oil on canvas, signed, approx. 50 x 70 cm, with frame approx. 64x83 cm.

In the 1980s, Peter Witt began painting with a spatula and mostly found his motifs on the North German coasts. Since 1991 he has been exhibiting his works annually on Sylt and in 1994 he opened his own gallery together with Stefan Dobritz in the gatehouse of Gut Hasselburg. Today Witt and Dobritz run a gallery in Westerland on Sylt.
