A Second World War or later finished M40 type steel helmet shell, with worn dark green painted finish with no decals. The helmet with three holes for liner attachments and two air vents, with rolled edge and indistinctly stamped 3135 to the interior. The liner in brown leather with eight 'tongues', and thin black chin strap.
Condition
Degradation and light rust to the surface, liner possibly a replacement.
