approx. 38.5x29 cm PETER EUGÉN – 25 nature experiences in watercolor Peter Eugén Nilsson was born in 1978 in Sundsvall, but now lives and works in Stockholm. He has established himself as a popular watercolor and nature painter, with a large number of exhibitions both nationally and internationally. He takes his inspiration from the forests of his childhood – dramatic and beautiful motifs where water is often central and water lily motifs his signature.
Peter Eugén has had several exhibitions, both in and outside of Sweden. He has appeared in articles and features in, among others, ABC News, NBC, CBS News, Washington Post, Connoisseur Magazine, Vogue and SvD Perfect Guide. His portrait painting and pop art have also received a lot of attention, not least from many art dealers, collectors and famous people such as Bruce Springsteen.
In addition to his artistry, he shares his knowledge as a teacher of watercolor painting.
Crafoord Auktioner Stockholm is now showing 25 of Eugén's works with an auction on May 25.
