Doll, Lilli, late 1950s, Reinhard Berthier, Greiner & Hausser Gmbh, Germany, production period 1955-64, polystyrene, painted face, original clothes, height approx. 29 cm Image-Lilli was originally a cartoon character, by Reinhardt Boythien for Bild magazine -Zeitung, 1952.
Production of the doll was started by Hausser Elastolin in Germany in 1955, and is the model for Barbie.
